Job Opening at UCSF Recreational Sports Sub-unit

Fitness & Recreation Centers at UCSF are looking for energetic part-time staff to work at our two facilities at Millberry and Mission bay.  Examples of Some of the duties will consist of supervising leagues, drop-in sports and assisting the Recreational Sports Supervisor.  If you are interested and want to know more about the position please call or e-mail your resume to edwin.tse@ucsf.edu or call us at 415-514-4594.
The Assistant Recreation Supervisor will work closely with the current Recreation Supervisor.  They serve as on-site coordinator (to Millberry Union & Mission Bay) for Recreational Sports leagues, drop-in sports, club sports , activities, clinic and special events  as well as providing administrative expertise in all areas of recreational programming. Deadline for the applications will be Friday, May 18, 2007.

Administrative tasks include but are not limited to:

• Web based business – schedule, publicity, updates and maintenance, Clubs, data accuracy
• Manage-database, enter statistics for leagues, drop-ins, and clubs
• Hours: Schedule to be determined based on need. 5-17 hours per week
• Replenish flyers and pamphlets in and around the UCSF campus community.
• Scorekeeping for leagues
• Setting up and taking down equipment for leagues.
• Scheduling league referee and schedules
